The blessings which I have received through the study of Christian Science are many, and it is with deep gratitude that I should like to relate a healing which I received one December day in 1958.

From childhood I had suffered from attacks of choking which greatly handicapped and weakened me, for I was unable to get any sleep during an attack. Although I received healings in Christian Science of nervous exhaustion, hay fever, and tuberculosis of two vertebrae, the attacks of choking persisted.

At these times I clung to the thoughts that in God "we live, and move, and have our being" (Acts 17:28) and that because God is the source of my life, it depends neither on my heart nor on my breathing. In this way I was always able to overcome my fear and remain calm. But the trouble did not disappear permanently.
