My mother came into Christian Science...

My mother came into Christian Science while I was still a baby. She was unable to find any milk that would agree with me. After trying everything the doctor recommended, to no avail, in desperation she walked into a Christian Science Reading Room and asked for help. The librarian directed her to a copy of The Christian Science Journal, and from the list of practitioners therein my mother selected and called one.

Within hours I was drinking ordinary milk, which fully satisfied me. The healing was immediate and complete. I shall always be grateful for my initiation into Christian Science

My mother then took up the study of this Science, and so I was reared in a home where it was loved, and I also had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School. Since that time I have had many blessings through the study and application of Science.
