Demonstrating True Identity

"True identity is the expression of the substance and activity of God's goodness"

In a number of his statements recorded in the Scriptures, Christ Jesus set forth some fundamentals of spirituality, which, when understood, are helpful in demonstrating true identity. Describing the indestructible unity existing between God and man, he said, "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30). By this saying our Way-shower could not have meant that his corporeal selfhood was God, nor could he have intended to imply that his spiritual identity was God, any more than the sunlight is the sun.
