RADIO PROGRAM No. 389 - Right Ideas Are Always Available

David Moore

SPEAKER: Friends, today we're going to discuss the change in thinking which enables us to find the right ideas that help us solve difficult problems. We have a guest from Santa Barbara, California, who has seen this proved in his business. Now here is David Moore. Tell us first about your work, Mr. Moore.

MR. MOORE: I'm manager of a physics laboratory doing applied research. I'm an engineer, and for about twenty years I've been engaged in research and development in the aircraft field—designing. inventing, and planning. Many times I have to deal with devices and ideas completely foreign to my experience: but I know I can always rely on God for help. I used to be afraid that I wouldn't be able to work out the solution of a problem when I was given an assignment.

But through my study of Christian Science, I've come to understand God as the one infinite Mind, perfect intelligence. I've learned also that man, made in God's likeness. expresses this Mind and that this is the truth regarding my own real selfhood. Identifying myself in this way, I know that I can always turn to this ever-present Mind with complete confidence for inspiration and guidance. And because this Mind is complete, inexhaustible. lacking nothing, its ideas are unlimited, instantly available.
