Behold, What Manner of Man
"Since inharmony ... is no part of God, it is no part of man, made in His likeness"
The beloved John wrote in his first epistle (3:1), "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not." Does not this verse imply that we are to behold not only God's love but what that love bestows, that is, that we are to "be called the sons of God"?
