Our family has loved the truth...
Our family has loved the truth taught in Christian Science and has depended on it to meet all its needs during the thirty-one years since my husband and I were married. Many problems were solved in the rearing of a daughter and two sons. We are especially grateful for the loving help of practitioners who encouraged us to help ourselves by studying the Bible and all Mrs. Eddy's writings.
During these fruitful years some of the healings we received were those of appendicitis, a severe sinus condition, complications at childbirth, constipation, and blood poisoning. We were guided to a better home, finding the rent less than we had been paying, and harmonious relationships have been established with relatives.
I should like to tell of an outstanding healing that I experienced about four years ago. I was one thousand miles from home and was suddenly seized with abdominal pains while attending a meeting. Not wishing to disturb my friends by leaving, I sat through the meeting holding on to every truth I could remember. When the noon recess was called, I sought help and was taken by a friend to her home.
