Cleveland, Ohio (Sixth Church).

Dedication services for Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist, Cleveland, Ohio, will be held August 28 at 11 a.m., 3.30 and 8 p.m.

The church was organized in July, 1922, and was recognized by The Mother Church in October. The first services were held in the former Boulevard Theater at 10024 Lorain Avenue.

About a year later a property was purchased at Denison Avenue and West 99th Street,... and the opening services were held in June, 1924.

The structure was sold in 1946 and the auditorium of George Washington School, 16210 Lorain Avenue, was used for services until the present edifice was completed. The modern brick church was opened for services in December, 1951.

The public is invited to attend the dedication services next Sunday. —The Cleveland Press (August 20, 1960).
