RADIO PROGRAM No. 365 - How Prayer Prevents Disfigurement

SPEAKER: Our guest today is a woman who faced the prospect of being permanently disfigured. But she was healed entirely through prayer, the prayer of absolute reliance on God. She's going to describe how this healing took place. I'd like to introduce Mrs. Doris B. Howell, of Winter Garden, Florida.

Please tell us about your experience, Mrs. Howell.

MRS. HOWELL: It happened like this. I was in the kitchen preparing dinner. Some of my family liked fried oysters and some liked oyster stew, so I had side by side on the stove a pan of scalded milk for the stew and a pan of hot frying oil. As I was putting the oysters into the hot milk, some of it splashed up on me. Somehow I slipped and then fell to the floor, knocking everything down on top of me.
