Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Richland, Washington (Society).

Dedication services for the new building of Christian Science Society, Richland, Washington, located at 304 Thayer Drive, will be held on Sunday at 11 a.m. and at 4 p.m.

The first meeting of the local group took place in November. 1944, in the Columbia High School. It was recognized as a society by The Mother Church in 1947, and in 1949 the society was incorporated.

Ground was purchased in July, 1955, and the building was started in October, 1956. The first meeting in the completed building was held in October, 1957.—Tri-City Herald (November 6, 1959).
