In the year 1935 I was a beginner in the study of Christian Science. I sought at once to gain a firm foundation of understanding. The light of this Science, shining brighter and brighter in my consciousness, so illumined my thinking that I was freed from a sense of burden and was eventually healed of severe headaches. The drugs I had previously used were thrown away.

I am thankful for the many healings which followed this first one and for the encouragement of friends. Very soon I had a clearer realization of my true self as God's image, reflecting right ideas.

My father passed on many years ago and later my beloved son. But by turning to Christian Science I was helped in overcoming grief, and I know that true consciousness is rooted in eternal good.
