Christian Science came into...
Christian Science came into my life about eight years ago when I was very despondent because of ill-health. I had suffered practically all my life with perennial hay fever in its severest form. It was considered to be caused by allergies of a hereditary nature. I had been to several specialists and for years I had taken injections; but the condition continued to grow worse. The doctors finally told me that my particular case was incurable, but that they could continue the injections, which might help alleviate the discomfort to a certain extent. They also said that it would be necessary for me to adhere to a very strict diet, as I seemed to be allergic to practically all foods.
It was at this time that an aunt who was a Scientist recommended that I try Christian Science. I then decided to take my stand with God and turned wholeheartedly to this Science. I called a practitioner, and after a lengthy conversation, she said that she would help me, but that I must discontinue all medical treatments. I was obedient and promptly gave up all medicine.
With the wonderful guidance of this practitioner and by my earnest and conscientious application of the truths as taught in Christian Science, my healing was accomplished in a very short time, and I was able to enjoy my meals.
