Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.
The Southside Reporter
San Antonio, Texas (Third Church).
Third Church of Christ, Scientist, San Antonio, Texas, will formally dedicate its church edifice at 3523 South Presa Street, on September 20, at two services, the first at 11 a.m., and the second at 3 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend.
Early in 1910 a group of Christian Scientists, discerning the need of a Church of Christ, Scientist, on the south side in San Antonio, met for the purpose of forming a Christian Science Society. The first Sunday morning service was held in a private home on February 11, 1940. Space to hold services was rented at 2503 South Presa Street on March 1, 1940.
