It is with gratitude and joy that I testify to the protecting, healing power of Christian Science. This truth, when properly applied, has met my needs abundantly. Problems of employment, severe headaches, colds, human relationships, tension, skin disease, sprains, and the effects of nervous exhaustion have all been healed through the power of God, divine Love.

The healing of skin disease came only through much purification of thought. As a student of Christian Science, I knew that it was not a change in the material condition but a change in thought that was needed. Traits of resentment, fear, and self-pity had to be replaced with Godlike qualities.

Many times the material picture was so evident and my discouragement so great that I did not want to leave the house. However, I knew this would be submitting to error; so I kept on with my church activities and did what was necessary and right to do.
