With joy I recall the wonderful...
With joy I recall the wonderful privilege during my youth of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, where in the light of this Science love and understanding of the Scriptures were nurtured. I shall always be grateful for the love and fidelity my parents exemplified in taking their children to Christian Science lectures and Wednesday evening testimony meetings.
Many seeds of Truth were thus planted in my thinking which oftentimes bore fruit in practical demonstrations of Christian Science in my schoolwork, social life, and college experience. Active participation in the Christian Science organization at a state university furthered my spiritual growth and aided in awakening me to seek membership in The Mother Church.
