Defining intelligence, Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health (p. 469), "It is the primal and eternal quality of infinite Mind, of the triune Principle,—Life, Truth, and Love, —named God."

Being a quality of infinite Mind, intelligence is vibrant with moral and spiritual energies. It is universal, impartial, ever present, and it is continuously available through the exercise of spiritual sense, a capacity with which God has endowed men and women every where.
