The Stream from a Modern Sanctuary
The gentle, irresistible force of true intelligence impels progress, urging thinkers to attain higher, better, and more effective modes of expression. Defining intelligence, Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health (p. 469), "It is the primal and eternal quality of infinite Mind, of the triune Principle,—Life, Truth, and Love, —named God."
Being a quality of infinite Mind, intelligence is vibrant with moral and spiritual energies. It is universal, impartial, ever present, and it is continuously available through the exercise of spiritual sense, a capacity with which God has endowed men and women every where.
The divine intelligence responsible for every activity of the Church of Christ, Scientist, is evidenced in the constant expansion and enrichment of its usefulness bringing health and freedom to all who are touched by its ministry.
