Prior to my study of Christian Science I attended churches of various denominations, but did not find the peace and spiritual joy I was searching for. Physically I was not well, although I had gone to several physicians for help. Then one day a student of Christian Science told me some of the simple truths of God and of my relationship to Him as His child. She gave me some of the authorized literature, which I read. I then purchased the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and began my study of this religion.

One of my first demonstrations of the power of Christian Science was for my daughter. She had a condition called athletic foot. At first a medicated ointment was applied, but there was no improvement. Then my daughter and I put the ointment aside and turned wholeheartedly to God for help and the healing followed immediately.
