"Solomon's porch" (John 10:23)
The colonnade or portico thus described seems to have run along the eastern end of the outer court of the temple. The historian Josephus, who lived shortly after the time of the Master, believed that it was almost the only fragment of the original Solomonic temple to be still extant in the first century.
