The Psalmist wrote, "O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever" (Ps.107:1). With even a little understanding of Christian Science, one can prove the goodness of God.
I began the study of this Science when I was still under the age of twenty. A dear aunt told me of the help and comfort she was gaining from her study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy; so I also began reading it.
I well remember one of my first demonstrations of spiritual healing. I went home for the weekend from the place where I had a teaching post and found a young brother in distress with earache. I thought to myself. If Christian Science is true, I can prove it. I asked my mother if she would object to an effort on my part to help him by prayer. She replied that she had done all she could for him and hoped there was something that would help.
