Words cannot fully express my gratitude for Christian Science, which our Leader worked and struggled so hard to give to the world. It is a priceless boon to mankind.
Before our marriage, my husband was healed of a severe case of typhoid fever within one week's time through the prayerful work of a Christian Science practitioner.
One day our children were sent home from school with a note that they were scarlet fever suspects. Before the doctor from the health department arrived, we prayed very earnestly. The doctor made certain tests and said he would come the next day and put the quarantine sign up if the tests showed evidence of the disease. The next day the children were better. I telephoned the doctor and told him of their improvement. He said, "I am very happy to inform you that it is not scarlet fever."
