When I was a young man and...
When I was a young man and experiencing illness such as liver trouble and constant colds, a neighbor lent my mother the Christian Science textbook. I started reading it and became so interested that I would read into the early morning hours. From this study, turned also to the Bible. Later I was introduced to a Christian Science practitioner, and as a result of her prayerful work I was healed of the liver trouble. The frequency of the colds decreased in the measure that my understanding of the power of God increased.
Since those early experiences, I have been healed of arthritis, bursitis, abscessed teeth, a streptococcic throat, and many other diseases. An attack which would probably have been diagnosed as a stroke was overcome in a few hours through my wife's prayer.
I should like to mention that we have been blessed by this religion in rearing our family, who have all had many wonderful healings.
