Christian Science was presented to me ten years ago when a very dear one, who had been given up by doctors, was healed. For the patient and faithful work of a Christian Science practitioner during that time, I shall never cease to be grateful.

For eighteen years prior to this experience I had been subject to attacks of biliousness and migraine. The medical prediction was that since I had inherited migraine from both sides of my family, I should never be wholly free from that ailment. The attacks were violent and prolonged, and the strain of coping with a home and young children, together with fear of almost every kind of food, made me so weak that life was at times almost unbearable.

I am so grateful that with the help of a practitioner these attacks gradually disappeared. For the past seven years I have been able to lead a useful life and to eat normally. I am thankful also to have proved that since my only parent is God, I can inherit only good.

I am grateful for the prayerful help received many times in connection with our children's ailments. Through the understanding in some degree that intelligence is spiritual and therefore everywhere present, our children have solved school problems, and I have been largely freed from a tendency to worry. I am humbly grateful to be able to use the truth in every situation which arises in daily domestic life.

I can never be sufficiently thankful for the sustaining power of Christian Science, for the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, for the periodicals, for the work of the practitioner, and for the friend who first told us of Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Olive M.
