I should like to express my deep...
I should like to express my deep gratitude that Mary Baker Eddy has given us a religion that teaches complete and unquestionable reliance on God. Recently, during a destructive tornado, I was able to rise above fear by holding in thought the allness of God.
I left home during a rainstorm to keep an appointment at a beauty shop. Shortly after my arrival the rain ceased, and the sky to the south became quite black. The others in the beauty shop began discussing the possibility of a tornado.
I told the proprietor that I had heard that some doors or windows should be left open in case of such a storm. She said that she would take care of the back door if I would take care of the front one. I went to the front door, and at almost that instant we heard the roar of the approaching tornado. In a matter of seconds the debris was falling all around.
