I am deeply grateful for Christian Science and for our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. It is my desire to relate an experience that has been an inspiriation to me. I was suffering from a painful internal disorder and from a discharge which was irritating to the skin.

A Christian Science practitioner gave me treatment, and I worked earnestly with the thought that man is the image and likeness of God and therefore free from inharmony. However, the condition did not improve until the practitioner gave me this healing thought from the Bible (Luke 17:21): "The kingdom of God is within you." From that instant I rejected the false suggestion that I was a mortal with a painful condition and replaced it with this statement of truth. In a few days I was completely healed.

I have had many wonderful proofs of God's loving care. In addition, a more harmonious home has unfolded as a result of applying the blessed truths of Christian Science. I am especially grateful for the Sanatorium of the Christian Science Benevolent Association, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, where I have had the privilege of being a guest for rest and study. I am likewise grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and for class instruction. — (Mrs.) Evelyn Winter, Richmond, Indiana.
