FLEXIBILITY
As a brook sings its way around or pours over the rocks in its course, so we can pass harmlessly around dangers in our path and surmount whatever conditions in human experience appear to obstruct our spiritual progress.
Sometimes in surmounting difficulties, one may need courage, strength, and wisdom. At other times the need may be for patience, gentleness, and love to help one to avoid clashing with others over different opinions or methods. At times even a sense of humor may assist one to see circumstances in perspective.
Whatever appears to interfere with our harmony or progress, we can, through reliance upon God, divine Mind, meet with calm assurance. Christian Science, which is in accord with Bible teachings, explains that we can claim our spiritual heritage as the image and likeness of God and thereby express by reflection the intelligence of divine Mind and be guided by God, Spirit, Love.
