My healings in Christian Science...

My healings in Christian Science have been many, and I should like to relate two particularly strengthening experiences. One was the healing of an uncontrollable and violent temper. In fact, at one time my husband was tempted to have me committed to an institution, because he felt I was bordering on insanity.

A testimony I heard in a Church of Christ, Scientist, uncovered the mesmeric belief which had held me in bondage for years. The testifier had been striving to overcome migraine headaches, but they did not yield until it was uncovered that his mother had always associated him with migraine headaches and told his wife that he had had them since childhood. That was all I needed to hear. I realized that my family had associated me with a bad temper since my babyhood; they said I was my father's daughter and had his temper.

In the light of Christian Science this unfoldment came: "Yes, I am my Father's daughter. His pure and perfect offspring, the reflection of pure and perfect Mind, God. Since there is only one Father, one Mother, God, good, there can be no dangerous inheritances." My healing came, and it was complete. That was ten years ago, and the healing has been permanent.
