It is my privilege to testify to the fact that Christian Science is the Comforter promised by our Master, Christ Jesus. My first experience in relying on this Science for healing was at the birth of a son over twenty-seven years ago. When a daughter was born the following year, I again relied on Science. Both experiences were very harmonious and without any medication whatever.

Our son was in the Marine Corps at the beginning of the Korean conflict and was among those Marines encircled by enemy forces in North Korea. Through the prayerful work that was done for him and through his own earnest study, he came through without a scratch.

At one time while his unit was working its way through a mountain pass, he dropped his Christian Science textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Upon discovering his loss he ran back under heavy shelling and got the books, knowing that it was right for him to have them and that he could rely on God's protection.
