I would like to express my gratitude for some of the benefits I have received through Christian Science and in particular for one outstanding example of God's government.

During a spell of severe, wintry weather it was necessary for me to make a round trip of about two hundred and fifty miles, much of it through the mountains. The night before I was to start, there was a thick covering of snow on the roads, and the weather forecasts were ominous, predicting more snow and hard frosts. I was disturbed at the prospect and so decided to telephone a Christian Science practitioner to ask that protective work be done.

The practitioner reminded me that I should get rid of the thought that it was necessary for a mortal body to be moved from one place to another, for the real man is at all times in his proper place, and Mind is in control. I held to this thought, and the result was a wonderful demonstration of God's protection.
