Signs of the Times
From The Evangelical Christian Toronto, Ontario, Canada
We have read a great deal about cyclones and hurricanes in recent years and the dreadful destruction they have caused. Science has devoted a great deal of time to the study of these terrifying storms, and the government of the United States a great deal of money investigating them. Now we are told that in the very eye of the hurricane or cyclone there is a central point of calm where a child might sleep undisturbed. Is not that what God offers to you and me—calm amidst the tempests of life, and a sanctuary of peace amidst the storms and stress of a hustling, bustling, tempestuous world? "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee."
