In gratitude to God for Christian Science I give this testimony. I was brought up in a Christian Science home, but after marrying I let responsibilities and worldly associations lead me away from the truth. After a while things began to go wrong. Sickness and financial difficulties were experienced, and we were about to lose our home.

At this point I returned to the study of our textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. In addition, I went to see a practitioner, who did prayerful work for me and helped me to regain a spiritual sense of being. Then things began to happen. Help came from unexpected sources, and we were able to get another loan on our home with reduced payments to fit our income. Sickness was destroyed, and our daily supply was met when my husband secured work in a manufacturing plant, where he worked for many years. How grateful I am for all the good that came to us at that time.

I have been healed of tonsillitis and of quinsy in a severe stage. When our little son was just four months old, he was taken very ill with what would probably have been diagnosed as bronchial pneumonia. A practitioner had been working for him, but I could not see any improvement. One evening I noticed that the child was sinking very rapidly. We did not have a telephone at that time; so I sent the two oldest children to the neighbors' to call the practitioner. She came in a very short time, and when I handed the little boy to her there was no evidence of life in him.
