LOVE'S TRANSPARENCY

The golden gleam
Of sunlight through the leaves
Is proof that though unseen
The sun is there beyond the wood.
So God in His eternal love
Shows forth Himself
In words of cheer, a smile,
A radiance of Soul divine,
That none may walk alone
In darkness or in fear
Who choose to let the light
Of Christ shine through the leaves
Of thought, reflected
In the daily glow
Of Love's transparency.
