Signs of the Times
In a column by Alta I. Starnes in the Fort Worth Press, Texas
Sometimes we meet people who talk about Christian faith as if it were only a glorified form of wishful thinking.
They have not stopped to consider that the faith Jesus had and which he urged us to acquire was founded upon knowledge. Jesus lived a life of certainty. He was certain about God because he had a moment by moment fellowship with Him. He did not have to make a desperate effort to exercise faith when he prayed, because he knew both the power and the love of God experimentally.
