It is with humble gratitude that I submit this testimony as to God's wonderful love and protection, both of which I have seen and experienced in the past twenty years. I have had many healings. One of these was that of a sprained ankle, which at the time appeared most serious. Through the help of a practitioner I was able to work, although it was necessary for me to stand all day. I can honestly say that the pain left while the ankle was still twice its normal size.

When some friends and I were on a motor trip, a discordant condition affected my right arm so much that I was unable to help drive. We all studied the Lesson-Sermon for that week in the Christian Science Quarterly and sang hymns, rejoicing in the protection we had. I was grateful for the help of a practitioner, who said, "The arm of the Lord is exalted in right activity." I was able to take the wheel that same day, and the arm gave no more trouble.

While we were traveling in the mountains on a very steep and winding road, our car went off the road and broke through a guard rail. As it started down the mountainside toward the depth far below we declared, "God is here." Just then the car was stopped and held by a single protruding rock. We thought of Mrs. Eddy's definition of "rock," which reads in part (Science and Health, p. 593), "Spiritual foundation; Truth." I am grateful to say that we were all unhurt, and we continued our sight-seeing in a car that was furnished us while our own was being repaired.
