I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings I have received through the application of Christian Science. When our son was born, the physician in charge of the delivery said that his lungs had not opened as they normally should have done. We were told that the child could not live.

My mother called a Christian Science practitioner for me; then she read to me the weekly Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. The lesson included the account of the resurrection of Lazarus; and Jesus' words (John 11:44), "Loose him, and let him go," relieved me of fear for the child. Despite the fear expressed by those in attendance, he continued to live and to gain strength. He is now eight years old and in excellent health.

One morning I awoke with a severe headache. It became worse as the day went on, and I could stay out of bed but a few minutes at a time. I called a Christian Science practitioner. My thought became peaceful and happy immediately. I fell asleep for a short time, and when I awoke I was free and could go about my work as usual.

My grandmother was healed of a goiter after doctors had said that her condition would be hopeless without an operation and that if she had one, there was little chance of recovery. The operation was never performed. She was completely healed through the help of a Christian Science practitioner and her own study of the Bible and of Science and Health.

About three years ago, while I was having help from a practitioner to gain a better sense of harmonious environment, the way opened for us to move to better surroundings. At the same time eczema and an abscessed tooth were overcome without my mentioning either to the practitioner. I have also been healed of ivy poisoning and of burns. Through my application of the truth lost articles have been quickly found without special effort to locate them.

I am very grateful that our children attend the Christian Science Sunday School, where they learn the truths of our demonstrable religion. The Wednesday testimony meetings, where we may share gratitude for all God's goodness, and our own periodicals have greatly blessed me. For our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who was willing to endure much to give Christian Science to the world, I give deep thanks to God.—(Mrs.) Jeannette Scott, Farmington, Michigan.
