RADIO PROGRAM No. 98 - How Deafness Was Healed
On this program George F. Glover of Pasadena, California, told of his own experience, as follows:
I know from my own experience that the power of God, as utilized in Christian Science, heals organic disease as readily as functional. You see, I was born with an ear complaint supposed to be hereditary, and when I was in my late teens, this disease attacked me with great severity and caused deafness in one ear. It also caused me a good deal of misery and gave me a feeling of inferiority.
However, I had become a student of Christian Science, and I felt certain that God's power could heal me. But I had much to learn about the true nature of man as spiritual and not material. Also, I didn't understand very clearly just how healing through scientific prayer came about. So I was often discouraged because the healing did not come quickly, and hope seemed to fade.
