I wish to express my sincere gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and for Mrs. Eddy, our Leader, who so lovingly gave to mankind her discovery of Christian Science. Our churches, our Sunday Schools, and our Reading Rooms, as well as our authorized literature and our lectures, have been great blessings to me. I am grateful too for the practitioners who have so lovingly helped me during many trying times.

When a young girl I used to listen to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly read by a very dear friend of my mother. Later Christian Science came to my help in continuing my education. Having completed the grammar school course in a country school, I wished to enter high school. There seemed to be no way open, however. The nearest high school was in another county, and books and tuition were very expensive.

That summer a neighbor who was a student of Christian Science helped me to realize that man is always in his right place. The following fall another high school student moved into the neighborhood, and we were supplied with transportation to and from school. Money for my tuition, books, and other necessary things came from an unexpected source. During the latter part of the school year my family moved to a large city, where my sister and I had the privilege of attending a newly opened high school. I am grateful to know that God, divine Love, always supplies our needs when we look to Him for help.
