With a heart full of gratitude to...
With a heart full of gratitude to God I give thanks for my healing of a severe case of asthma which came on after an operation on the nose. Only after I had exhausted all medical aid without any success did I become ready for Christian Science. A dear sister had proposed it to me many times before, but I did not accept it until after years of suffering and months of consecutively sleepless nights.
The healing did not come quickly, but Christian Science brought me new courage. I still had to go through deep waters and learn that the human self must be corrected. As I advanced in Christian Science, God became more understandable to me, and one day I was free. Several years have passed since this healing, without any return of the trouble.
I had a long fight, but it grounded me in Christian Science. Today I apply the truth to whatever problems come to me.
Words fail to express my heartfelt gratitude for Christian Science, and I acknowledge Mrs. Eddy as the world's greatest benefactress.—(Mrs.) Clara Steudler, Lausanne, Switzerland.
