Christian Science came to me after many years of searching for a religion that would satisfactorily answer my many questions. Although I had investigated many doctrines and philosophies, the thought had never come to me to inquire into Christian Science. However, as I glanced through a daily newspaper one evening my eyes came to rest on the heading of a paragraphy which read, "God, the Only Causation." It suddenly came to me that this was something that I had always felt was true, and I was most surprised when I looked at the top of the page and discovered that it was the subject of a Christian Science lecture.

The way to drop the old religion and take up the new was left entirely to the Father, and He guided me every step of the way. I have experienced protection from harm and have had many physical healings; but what I am most grateful for is the fact that at last I am in the path of Truth.

A recent healing is added proof that God's law of healing, which Jesus practiced, is still with men and is explained in Christian Science. An abdominal disturbance was so severe that for some time I was able to get no rest, day or night. I called upon an experienced Christian Science practitioner for help, and within thirtysix hours the pain abruptly ceased. I asked for continued help, however, as there was much soreness to be eradicated. In a few days this completely cleared up. About ten days afterward a large swelling appeared on the top of one of my feet. Of its own accord it opened and drained, and the opening closed and disappeared, allowing the foot to assume its normal appearance. How wonderful it is to realize that God's law is always in operation to heal and bless!
