I am very grateful to God for Christian Science and to Mrs. Eddy, by whom it was revealed. It has helped me for over thirty-five years and healed me many times. In recent years I have gained a more spiritual understanding of its teachings.

About three years ago an outstanding healing took place. When I first became interested in Christian Science there was a tiny lump on the back of my neck, but I ignored it because it was not noticeable. It was not until the growth became very conspicuous and bothersome that specific work in Christian Science was taken up for it. A practitioner then told me that divine Love would dissolve it. I found help from Mrs. Eddy's statement in "Unity of Good" where, speaking of material sense, she says (p. 60), "This false sense of substance must yield to His eternal presence, and so dissolve," and also from the words (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 278), "Healed is thy hardness, His love hath dissolved it."

During my period of study and earnest effort, as I grew spiritually and expressed more love, my home became more harmonious. Only when my spiritual understanding increased and I learned not to meet human will with human will did the healing come. The growth began to soften; then it opened and completely dissolved. The healing has been permanent.
