From the time I became a student of Christian Science healings and blessings have been innumerable in my experience.

Not long ago I proved the immediacy of the healing power of Science when a gas oven exploded, burning one side of my face and singeing my hair and eyebrows. My first thought was, God is All-in-all.

Then I found myself saying "the scientific statement of being," as found in our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 468), with perfect confidence and assurance. I was so sure of God's loving care that I was able to complete dinner preparations without yielding to the temptation to examine my face. I was grateful when my family did not notice any evidence of the accident.
