Words are inadequate to express...

Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me and my loved ones. I feel as the Psalmist must have felt when he asked, "Who is so great a God as our God?" (Ps. 77:13.)

I have witnessed many healings in my family for over thirty years. One of our sons was healed in three hours of a severe case of influenza. At another time he was stricken with convulsions and was found unconscious early one morning. My husband, who is not interested in Christian Science, called a physician, but our son was healed in an hour through my understanding of the truth. The healing took place before the doctor arrived. Another son came home from his work one day ill with a high fever and asked for Christian Science help. While I was talking with a Christian Science practitioner on the telephone, he cried out, "I want God!" and by the time I had hung up the receiver, he was healed.

I have seen a grandson healed in a short time of asthma through Christian Science help. He was healed also of a high fever at another time while I read from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. This same child, when seven years old and attending a boys' camp, became lost in a forest nearby. Several older boys who were on the trip with him thought he was following them, but he was not. The boy could not find his way out to the road which led back to camp; so he sat down and repeated the Lord's Prayer. In a few minutes he started walking and found his way out, getting back to the camp by himself. It is certainly wonderful how receptive children are to the truth. This boy is attending the Christian Science Sunday School and through Science has helped himself many times in his schoolwork.
