I am very grateful for Christian Science and for the happiness, peace, and greater security that have been mine in proportion as I have earnestly studied and put into practice this grand religion.

We have had many healings in our home during the twenty-six years since my mother's introduction to Christian Science. Some have taken place with the help of practitioners, others through the individual effort of members of the family. Chicken pox, infected fingers, and warts were quickly healed, and inharmonious conditions have been dissolved through the powerful words of Truth.

One experience for which I am most grateful is a healing I had some seven years ago. Several girls had been playing with me on an asphalt tennis court. I was pushed hard on the back and fell with considerable force onto received the court. My hands and face received the full force of the fall. The flesh on my forehead and nose was badly scraped and a front tooth was loose. Well-meaning friends insisted that the tooth would surely have to come out and that my face would be scarred all my life.
