How can we know God? This is the one great question that has puzzled men throughout the centuries. In the first letter of the Apostle John we are told that we can know God. ... True knowledge of God is not intellectual, but moral and spiritual. It is not the trained and vigorous intellect that sees God, but the pure heart.

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." This knowledge is that inward and spiritual acquaintance with Him which arises out of our faith in Him and our love to Him.
