Athlete healed of prostration expresses his gratitude

With a heart full of gratitude for the many healings, spiritual, mental, physical, and financial, that I have received through the study and application of the truths contained in the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I desire to submit my testimony.

I experienced a healing of complete disruption and prostration of the entire physical mechanism, the result of my participating too arduously in school athletic competitions. The fingers were disjointed from the knuckles, and there was loss of normal control over the bodily functions, together with cerebral hemorrhage. This healing took place some twenty years ago. entirely through absent treatment. The healing was completed in a period of three weeks.

This testimony would be incomplete without my expressing gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to Mrs. Eddy for her unselfish devotion to humanity in revealing the true way of Life— Christian Science.
