In accordance with the procedure which has been followed for some time, after several years of service in the lecture work members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship are eligible to retire for a period during which they may devote their time and attention particularly to the study and practice of Christian Science. The Christian Science Board of Directors announces that the following lecturers are planning to avail themselves of this opportunity as of July 1, 1949:
Mr. James Harry McReynolds
Mr. John S. Sammons
Mr. Sim Andrew Kolliner has signified his desire to retire permanently at the end of the current lecture year from service as a member of the Board of Lectureship, in order to devote his entire time to the practice of Christian Science healing and his work as a teacher of Christian Science.
A new member writes, "After years of being alone, it makes me happy to be included in the congregation of those who serve God." To serve God is to love Him and to devote time and thought to bringing His love and truth to the world as found in Christian Science.
