MINISTERING ANGELS
[Of Special Interest to Young People]
After graduating from college a young woman accepted a position as a teacher in a small rural high school on the prairie in the western part of the United States. The school was quite isolated, being a mile from the farm where she was to live that winter, five miles from a tiny inland town, and thirty miles from a town on a railroad.
There were many "firsts" for the young teacher to face. It was her first position, her first time to be away from home, her first time to be in a community where there was no Christian Science church to attend, and her first time to be the only Christian Scientist in the community.
