Recently I have had a great desire to give more to the Cause of Christian Science. My first thought was along the line of material giving, but as I read and studied more, I found a number of articles in the current Christian Science literature which turned my thought to the idea of spiritual giving. I began to do more metaphysical work for the church services and to prepare testimonies for Wednesday evening meetings. I realized that if the spiritual work were done well, the material means for additional giving would follow. Since I have never sent in a testimony to the periodicals, I wish to do so now, for I have much for which to be grateful.

When our oldest daughter was about six months of age, I began the study of Christian Science. Prior to that time I had attended the church services when it seemed convenient and read a little, but this Science did not mean much to me. I was greatly distressed because our child was so constipated that it seemed necessary to use material remedies to relieve the condition. A friend asked me if I did not want to have help from a Christian Science practitioner, and I decided to do so.

It took about a week for my fear for the child to be healed, but when that healing look place in my consciousness, the physical change followed as a necessary consequence, and normal action resulted. I found that I had been healed of the same condition, from which I had suffered for over fourteen years.
