It is with a deepening sense of gratitude for all Christian Science is showing me daily that I express my thanks to God for this truth. Greater peace and joy are ours through adherence to its teachings.

It was my privilege to attend the Christian Science Sunday School from the age of four until I graduated. Today I am grateful for the joy and growth in understanding which have been mine through teaching in the Sunday School.

After attending a Christian Science lecture five years ago, I came away with a clearer understanding of God's oneness. There are not three concepts which we must unify in our thinking: man, the place where he is, and God; but just one fact, the oneness and allness of God. While skiing a few weeks later I had occasion to use this simple truth. Our small party had climbed away from the regular ski slope to a secluded basin on the other side of the mountain at an altitude of twelve thousand feet. The others in the party being more experienced skiers went ahead, admonishing me to be careful as I crossed high on the side of the basin, for there had been a snowslide part way down, and the surface was steep and tricks to cross. I proceeded with caution, pausing frequently so as to remain under control. The last time I stopped, at about the center of the broken area, I realized that although I had stopped, the snow on which I stood was moving. The first and only thought I had was of God. Aloud I said, "God," three times. There was no profound declaration of the truth, just the simple realization of the oneness and all-inclusiveness of God. The snow stopped moving, and I proceeded down into the basin where the others were skiing.
