It is with heartfelt gratitude for our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for her God-inspired discovery of Christian Science that I welcome this opportunity of bearing witness to its healing ministry.

My interest in Christian Science began twenty-four years ago when, upon reading a few pages of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was completely healed of the necessity of wearing glasses. This proof of God's healing power greatly impressed me with the good which Christian Science offers, and I began earnestly to seek an understanding of it.

I soon found that the accumulation of years of false education had to be replaced with the truth about God and His reflection, man; but as I pressed on, the gradual transformation of my thinking manifested itself in healings of other physical difficulties, such as colds, influenza, fractured bones, and many other inharmonies.
