THE MASTER'S TOUCH
In
deep humility the leper knelt,
Yet with the glad expectancy of good,
And we can understand his gratitude
When Jesus tenderly put forth his hand
And with this loving gesture comforted
The leper—casting out all loneliness.
To him the Master's love revealed
At once the ever-present Christ that healed.
Dorothy Godden
