With a heart full of gratitude to...
With a heart full of gratitude to God I should like to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.
I had been X-rayed and found to be suffering from tuberculosis, and was about to enter a sanatorium, when a friend lent me a copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
I read a little of this book and felt a great sense of peace. However, as my arrangements to enter the sanatorium were all made, I went and stayed there twelve weeks. I did everything I was told to do and accepted the treatment that was offered. At the end of this time I felt weak, ill, and unhappy. One day I made up my mind I was going home that very day. The doctors said that if I left I must do so at my own risk.
